喋血街头是吴宇森进军好莱坞香港拍的最后一部作品，他拍的英雄本色让人记住了小马哥，让他也成为暴力美学的大师，他拍的枪战场面很有艺术味，让人觉得很美感，虽然这部片子没有周润发的演出，剧情也是一般，但是经过吴宇森的导演，加上梁朝伟的演出，一样显得很精彩
